presidentThe flagship Happy Toilet Programme (HTP) has strategically evolved over the years since its launch in 2003 during the SARS outbreak. In 2008, it was revamped to include effectiveness and user satisfaction to the existing cleanliness, maintenance and design criteria. In 2014, a new six-star rating was introduced with higher scores set for four and five-star ratings, so as to improve user experience and meet higher public expectations. This year, we are redesigning the HTP certificate to enhance its corporate and professional branding image.

RAS redesigns certificate of its star-rated Happy Toilet Programme (HTP)

From April, newly-designed certificates have made their debut at star-rated Happy Toilets islandwide. The star rating and logo of RAS can now be easily spotted not only to raise public awareness about the RAS but also to enhance the professional look of the certificate. The certificate is redesigned after feedback from business owners and operators.

RAS participates in Citi-YMCA Youth For Causes (YFC) 2017

On 16th May, the official launch of Citi-YMCA YFC 2017 at the School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA) marked the 15th anniversary of the YFC programme with President Tony Tan as the Guest-of-Honour. A team of four passionate Republic Polytechnic students will help champion our cause of recognising cleaning attendants.

IdroFoamRinse200: the ideal machine for shower cleaning

Santoemma, an Italian company based in Milan, Italy, recently presented the IdroFoamRinse200 machine, which allows the cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms and showers through the spray of cleaning and sanitizing foam and the following rinse of all the surfaces. Laboratory tests prove that it is possible to remove 99.9% of bacteria. After the action, the areas are clean and perfumed. Small and easy to handle, it connects with the water network with unlimited autonomy.
