2007
was an eventful year for the RAS with the growing popularity of our Happy
Toilet School Education Programme for preschoolers, primary and secondary
students. Not lagging behind, our Happy Toilet Programme also made a
breakthrough with the awarding of the first happy toilet at a construction
site and restaurant. It is indeed heartening to see more toilet owners
taking toilet hygiene seriously.

RAS in action
|
RAS ties up with Singapore Sports Council
RAS will be working
with the Singapore Sports Council (SSC) to spruce up all the public toilets
in their complexes. This initiative will go towards paving the way for a
successful 2010 Youth Olympics in Singapore. The goal of the
collaboration between RAS and SSC is to enhance and sustain the quality
standards of their public toilets.

Aljunied GRC Zero Litter Month 2008
RAS will be showcasing our work and
programmes at the launch of the “Zero Litter Month” organised
by Aljunied Town Council on 3 May at the Serangoon Division from 9.30 am.
The Town Council will be spearheading this event for the first time and Mrs
Lim Hwee Hua, Minister of State (Finance & Transport), will be the
Guest-of-Honour for the event.

Official Launch of LOO Campaign 2008-2010
RAS will launch the LOO campaign to
achieve our 2010 goal of 70% clean toilets, islandwide with at least a 3
star Happy Toilet rating, which is the basic standard of toilet
cleanliness. Besides school performances, there will also be competitions
for schools as well as the public. Stay alert so as not to miss out the fun
and excitement.
