30 June 2007 marked the official launch day of the North West Green Festival 2007, which was held at Bukit Panjang Plaza. Guest-of-Honor Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, Minister for Environment and Water Resources, graced the event along with the Mayor of North West District Dr Teo Ho Pin. Organized by the North West Community Development Council (NWCDC), the Green Festival focuses on three areas, namely 1) Energy Conservation 2) Public Health and 3) Nature Appreciation.

RAS is proud to put up a joint performance together with 16 students from the Gloryland Learning Centre (Cashew) for this event. This lovely bunch of children conveyed the importance of keeping the toilets clean and hygienic as well as the need to appreciate our cleaners through creative dance steps and actions.

Evergreen Primary School, one of the participating schools of the Happy Toilet School Education (HTSE) Programme, has also joined us at this event and conducted toilet-related educational games at RAS’ booth.
