The RAS, Restroom Association (Singapore) partnered with APP Commercial Pte Ltd (APP) to launch a new set of hygiene checklists for preschools, at the APP-RAS LOO (Let’s Observe Ourselves) Awards held at APP’s office on 19 November to commemorate World Toilet Day. A Happy Toilets @ Preschools Projects Grant was also introduced for preschools under the Happy Toilets @ Preschools Programme to tap into the grant for teachers to better educate preschoolers through projects.

RAS launches comprehensive hygiene checklists for preschools

On 19th November during the APP-RAS LOO Awards held at APP office, RAS Honorary President Mr Ho Chee Kit launched a set of hygiene checklists on RAS’ official website to commemorate World Toilet Day. The checklists for preschools are now available for download at www.toilet.org.sg.

RAS partners with APP to introduce Happy Toilets @ Preschools Projects Grant

20 preschools under the Happy Toilets @ Preschools Programme will be selected to receive a grant capped at $200 to execute projects with their preschoolers under the guidance from teachers. Selected preschools have to execute the projects from April to December and training is provided by RAS upon request.

RAS and APP jointly present awards to recipients at the 12th LOO (Let’s Observe Ourselves) Awards

At the LOO Awards jointly organised by APP and RAS, award recipients and guests, viewing a video congratulatory message by Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment Dr Amy Khor, prior to receiving their awards. Due to safe management measures, the LOO Awards had to be extended for three hours.
