In
its bid to support the nation’s move towards a smart nation, the RAS,
Restroom Association (Singapore) announced the adoption of smart solutions
as a new criterion for the Happy
Toilet Programme, at the 11th LOO
(Let’s Observe Ourselves) Awards held at Heartbeat @ Bedok on 19
November, World Toilet Day.
These revised criteria will not only encourage the adoption of smart
solutions but most importantly translate to better productivity and
efficiency in toilet maintenance.

RAS
certifies the first integrated community and lifestyle hub under the Happy
Toilet Programme (HTP)
The toilets at
Heartbeat @ Bedok were certified 5-stars under the HTP for the first time in November. The HTP is the only toilet
accreditation scheme supported by the National Environment Agency (NEA) and
featured in both their website
and myENV
mobile app.

presents vouchers to cleaning attendants at Heartbeat @ Bedok
Close to 50 cleaning attendants working at Heartbeat @ Bedok were
each presented with $40 worth of grocery vouchers. Exhibitions, games and
activities were also organised from 17th to 18th November at Heartbeat @
Bedok to educate the public to show kindness to the attendants.
