president The RAS, Restroom Association (Singapore) is honoured to receive the support from partners and supporters at the milestone launch of its SaniGives initiative during the LOO (Let’s Observe Ourselves) Awards ceremony held at Our Tampines Hub. The objective of SaniGives is to raise public awareness about showing kindness and recognition towards our cleaning attendants.

RAS launches SaniGives: Buy ∙ Give ∙ Help

RAS President Ms Tan Puay Hoon (behind the standee) giving the thumbs up at the launch of SaniGives with fundraising partners from Adkel Solutions, Adsec Global, Aeora Lab, TOTO Asia Oceania and Viso. SaniGives means giving for toilet sanitation and the silent heroes behind toilet sanitation are none other than our fellow cleaning attendants!

RAS presents vouchers to cleaning attendants at Our Tampines Hub

More than 30 volunteers (SaniGivers) from the Victoria Junior College Interact Club posing for a momento photo with cleaning attendants working at Our Tampines Hub on 18th November, a day after the LOO Awards. A total of 59 cleaning attendants were each presented with $40 worth of grocery vouchers from 18th to 19th November.

RAS launches LOO (Let’s Observe Ourselves) Whiz mobile version

Guest of Honour North East District Mayor Desmond Choo displaying his gaming skills as a LOO Whiz. Developed by students from the Nanyang Polytechnic’s School of Interactive & Digital Media, this hands-on restroom-cleaning game is now available for download at Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

LOO (Let’s Observe Ourselves) Exhibitions

From February to March, RAS will be holding exhibitions to raise awareness about its key programmes including its newly-launched SaniGives. Grocery vouchers will also be presented to cleaning attendants working at the five HDB shopping malls as follows:

· 26th February to 4th March at Sunshine Place

· 5th March to 11th March at Yew Tee Square

· 12th March to 18 March at Depot Heights Shopping Centre

· 19th March to 25th March at Pioneer Mall

· 26th March to 1st April at Taman Jurong Shopping Centre
