The
RAS, Restroom Association (Singapore) collaborated with Qihua
Primary School to commemorate World Toilet Day by
holding its annual LOO
(Let's Observe Ourselves) Awards at a school for the first time. Qihua Primary students were present to showcase
innovative games they had conducted at preschools to educate preschoolers on restroom etiquette. At the LOO Awards
ceremony, a total of 39 recipients were recognised with 9 outstanding
preschools and 10 schools awarded for the first time.
At
the LOO (Let’s Observe Ourselves) Awards ceremony held at Qihua Primary School on 19th November, World Toilet
Day, RAS President Ms Tan Puay Hoon shares about RAS 5-year action plan of
evolving as a Toilet Hub - a hub for all toilet matters concerning building
owners, cleaning attendants and public users.

RAS trains more than 50 cleaning attendants for WSQ Perform Basic
Cleaning of Washrooms assessment
A qualified trainer conducting on-site training for
cleaning attendants of the National Library Building on 28th November. The
WSQ assessment was conducted after the training to assesstheir competency. In total, 17 and 40
attendants from the National Library Building and the Shoppes at Marina Bay
Sands respectively were assessed.

cleaning attendants at the Admiralty Place receiving their grocery vouchers
on 10th October. Admiralty Place was one of 7 participating shopping malls
of the LOO Carnival and Exhibition which was organised island wide from
October to November.
