After years of actively promoting and implementing various restroom initiatives, RAS efforts were paid off when we were awarded the Environmental Health Stewardship Award 2009 by the Society of Environmental Health (Singapore). Owing to my team’s commitment and contributions, I was honoured to receive the EcoFriend Award from the National Environment Agency (NEA) this year.

Ms Susan Pereira’s – key person for preschool education programmes – article was published in the well being section of the September issue of Singapore’s Child, an early-education publication which features practical and in-depth information on child development, behavioural and psychological issues essential for parents and teachers.

LOO Awards Ceremony

The inaugural LOO Awards Ceremony – first restroom awards for organisations, companies, cleaning contractors, cleaners and individuals – will be held on 2 December 2009 during networking dinner at the World Toilet Summit & Expo. Invited Guest-of-Honour, Dr Amy Khor, Senior Parliamentary Secretary of the Environment and Water Resources, will be presenting the awards.

World Toilet Summit & Expo (WTSE) 2009

WTSE 2009 will be held from 2 - 4 December 2009 at Suntec Singapore. It will focus on ‘Creating the Blueprint for a Sustainable Sanitation Marketplace’. The three-day Summit will uncover urban and rural perspectives while the accompanying Expo will feature a showcase of sustainable sanitation solutions and urban toilet designs and technology.

Pulire Asia 2009

The Pulire Asia Cleaning Solutions Expo 2009 will now take place from 2 - 4 December 2009 at Suntec Singapore. RAS has already accepted an invitation and will showcase its exhibits and conduct a workshop on its programmes. Pulire Asia 2009 is the most relevant trade exhibition for cleaning industry and environmental services in Asia Pacific.

Our company, Qool Enviro Pte Ltd was incorporated in 2006 with a start up fleet of 50 toilets. Today, we have increased our fleet size to more than 700 toilets with six service vehicles. Though our company is young, our management team has with us more than 20 years' experience in related industries.
