The RAS, Restroom Association (Singapore) welcomes its new Executive Director Mr Sandeep Khanna. With RAS under new stewardship, we are anticipating more impactful initiatives to be implemented in the near future such as our LOO (Let’s Observe Ourselves) Campaign @ Coffeeshops, which takes place from this year after the successful completion of our 3-year LOO Campaign @ Hawker Centres launched in 2021.

RAS welcomes its new Executive Director (ED)

Mr Sandeep Khanna is the incoming ED of RAS. joined the RAS on 19th February as the new ED. He brings over three decades of rich cross-functional and cross-cultural experience across Asia. He has built brands, businesses and leaders across companies like BBDO, Nokia, LG, Facebook and Grab.

RAS bids farewell to its outgoing Executive Director (ED)

In 2018, outgoing ED Mr Emerson Hee spoke at a forum in New Delhi organised by then Ascendas-Singbridge on A Guide to Better Public Toilet Design & Maintenance. He also edited the latest edition of the guide, which was launched in 2022, with inputs from both the government and private sectors.

RAS certifies first condominium under the Happy Toilet Programme (HTP)

A common toilet at the Warner Court Condominium was certified under the HTP in January. This was the first condominium to be certified since the launch of the HTP in 2003.
