Ho-Chee-KitThe cleanliness of public toilets has become one of the highlighted issues in the midst of the current COVID-19 situation. The RAS, Restroom Association (Singapore) continues to play an active role to support the SG Clean Campaign, which was launched by the National Environment Agency (NEA). It is also timely for higher Happy Toilet standards to be introduced from 1st April to encourage the adoption of smart solutions to increase productivity and efficiency of toilet maintenance.

RAS supports the SG Clean Campaign

nea1Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, Mr Masagos Zulkifli, and Senior Minister of State Dr Amy Khor at the SG Clean Campaign launch on 16th February at Our Tampines Hub Hawker Centre. The hawker centre toilets have been rated 4-star Happy Toilets.

RAS partners with Hit Singapore to bring restroom advertising to Downtown East

downtown112 toilets at Downtown East were installed with 100 digital panels and broadcast advertising commenced on 1st March. The toilets were also accredited 5 stars under the Happy Toilet Programme with Japanese-based advertising agency Hit Singapore bearing the accreditation costs.

RAS trains Singapore Management University (SMU) undergraduates on the criteria of public toilet assessment

The Santoemma solution for toilet cleaning in hospitals and nursing homes

Santoemma2Santoemma has been producing specific machines for toilet cleaning and sanitizing for nearly 20 years now.  The purpose of using machines instead of manual work is to raise cleaning standards to a higher level and offering specific solutions for toilets of any kind and size.

 

One of the problems that Santoemma solved with excellent results in the past years related to the cleaning and sanitizing of toilets in hospitals and nursing homes. A lot of hospitals and nursing homes in the world are now currently using Santoemma systems with excellent results. 

 

For this specific application, Santoemma developed two machines, especially designed for maintenance cleaning and sanitizing of small and medium-sized restrooms. Two models are available: Powertec30 (cable powered) and Powertec30 Battery (battery powered), both belonging to Santoemma RESTROOM Cleaning and Sanitizing program.
