president The RAS, Restroom Association (Singapore) made a promising start this year in February with the launch of its new Happy Toilets @ Preschools Programme and the 1st edition of A Guide to Better Preschool Toilet Design, Maintenance and Education. We strongly believe proper restroom etiquette must be inculcated from young so as to promote a gracious society with good hygiene standard.

RAS launches Happy Toilets @ Preschools Programme (HTPP)

HTPP1 On 3rd February, Guest-of-Honour, Ms Low Yen Ling, Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Social and Family Development (second from right), launched the HTPP and presented certificates to two HTPP preschools namely Generation Kidz @ Limau and PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Telok Blangah Blk 44 for achieving the highest three thumbs-up rating.

RAS introduces its first preschool toilet guide

Guide1 Information on a new 81-page Guide to Better Preschool Toilet Design, Maintenance & Education was shared with about 120 preschool principals, supervisors and teachers at the Environment Building prior to the launch of the Happy Toilets @ Preschools Programme.

RAS holds its Happy Toilet Seminar for building owners and preschool operators

HTS1 RAS Executive Director Mr Emerson Hee sharing information about the revised criteria of the Happy Toilet Programme with building owners. The new six-star rating criteria were also shared at the morning session. The afternoon session was organised for preschool operators to share information about the new preschool toilet guide.

RAS supports Singapore World Water Day

PUB1 RAS supported the Singapore World Water Day together with its partner Adkel Solutions not only to raise awareness on water conservation but also to showcase its water-saving bidet to a strong crowd of visitors on 21st March at the Singapore Sports Hub.

Dunman High School awarded Gold for restroom cleaning

Dunman1 Dunman High School (DHS) Principal Dr Foo (in red) joining the rest of the students to undergo training on restroom cleaning. DHS was awarded Gold under our STAR (Sustaining Toilets As Restrooms) Awards Programme for training its students to clean restrooms so as to better appreciate cleaning attendants.

St. Hilda's Secondary Annual Service Learning Symposium

Hilda2 RAS was invited to showcase its service learning project – Happy Toilets @ Shopping Malls - to St. Hilda’s Secondary students at the 3rd Annual Service Learning symposium on 27th March. Students not only acquire event and volunteer management skills but most importantly build up their positive character through helping cleaning attendants.
