2012
was a fruitful year for the Restroom Association (Singapore) or RAS with
new partnerships forged to launch new initiatives such as our LOO (Let’s
Observe Ourselves) Connect feedback channel with the
Singapore Land Authority (SLA) and our LOO
Whiz Facebook game with the Nanyang Polytechnic’s
School of Interactive & Digital Media. This year, we are certainly
looking forward to forging more partnerships with other government agencies
and private companies to launch more impactful initiatives.

RAS shares restroom hygiene tips with JTC tenants

tenants and lessees who were mostly from the F&B and retail sectors.

RAS trains
volunteers to conduct mystery Happy Toilet audits in the South West
district
Mr John Loh
(in white), Manager for Training & Standards, conducting a training session
for a group of 12 volunteers on 16 March at the JTC Summit in Jurong East.
After the training, volunteers were assigned to conduct mystery Happy
Toilet audits at coffee shops in the South West district.

its latest initiatives at River Valley High School
RAS booth at River Valley High School
for its Learning Festival 2013. Students were made aware about our community
outreach initiatives such as our LOO Connect feedback portal and school
projects as well as our LOO Whiz Facebook game.

RAS supports
Singapore World Water Day
Guest
of Honour Prime Minister (PM) Lee Hsien Loong giving
his speech at the celebration of Singapore World Water Day organised by
the PUB at the Marina Barrage on 16 March. RAS was invited to set up a
booth to showcase its latest initiatives to the PM and other visitors.

International Facility Management (iFaME) Expo 2013
RAS has
been invited as a supporting association for the iFaME
2013 to be held from 7th to 9th May at the Marina Bay Sands. The iFaME is the Singapore’s first facility
management trade show with a projection of 6,000sqm space, 200 exhibitors
and 6,000 trade professionals.
