2010
was a fruitful year for RAS with groundbreaking events such as the LOO
(Let’s Observe Ourselves) Carnival, LOO (Let’s Observe
Ourselves) @ Heartlands initiative and the release of a 70-page Inter-Agency
Working Committee (IAWC) report, which is also a 3-year blueprint on public
restrooms. This series of events has certainly heightened the awareness of
everyone – restroom owners, cleaners and users – on the need to
observe and work together to sustain the quality restroom standards in
Singapore.
