Ho-Chee-Kit Last year, the RAS, Restroom Association (Singapore) commemorated the 20th anniversary of its inception since 1998 with multiple milestones – First six-star restrooms awarded at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands in April, Happy Toilets @ Preschools Booklet & Handbook launch in August, Public Toilet Cleanliness Campaign and 4th edition of the Guide to Better Public Toilet Design & Maintenance launch in November.

RAS nominates five Happy Toilets for ASEAN Public Toilet Awards

award1 Five Happy Toilets nominated by the RAS were conferred the ASEAN Public Toilet Awards at the ASEAN Tourism Award held in Vietnam on 18th January – 6-star restrooms at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, 5-star restrooms at Sentosa’s Palawan East and Palawan West, Merlion Park and Koufu’s The Gallerie foodcourt @ Marina Square.

RAS supports the Pubic Toilet Cleanliness Campaign

RAS garners support from LOO (Let's Observe Ourselves) Awards recipients in educational video filming

filming1 Park View Primary School student Kaylea Toh, the LOO Kidz recipient of LOO Awards last year, was all smiles as she displayed her award plaque during a filming session at her school on 19th February. The filming was part of the Public Toilet Cleanliness Campaign to profile exemplary people behind clean public toilets.

RAS extends its outreach to preschools and schools

The Santoemma solution for toilet cleaning in hospitals and nursing homes

Santoemma2 Santoemma has been producing specific machines for toilet cleaning and sanitizing for nearly 20 years now. The purpose of using machines instead of manual work is to raise cleaning standards to a higher level and offering specific solutions for toilets of any kind and size.

One of the problems that Santoemma solved with excellent results in the past years related to the cleaning and sanitizing of toilets in hospitals and nursing homes. A lot of hospitals and nursing homes in the world are now currently using Santoemma systems with excellent results.

For this specific application, Santoemma developed two machines, especially designed for maintenance cleaning and sanitizing of small and medium-size restrooms. Two models are available: Powertec30 (cable powered) and Powertec30 Battery (battery powered), both belonging to Santoemma RESTROOM Cleaning and Sanitizing program.
